Premier Li visit to Cuba expected to boost bilateral cooperation — green energy

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang visited Cuba last September.

The first official visit to Cuba by a Chinese premier since the two countries established diplomatic ties 56 years ago, was  focused on boosting economic cooperation in areas ranging from telecommunications to energy.

Havana energy and its majority shareholder, the Chinese multinational Shanghai Electric, are pioneers in the production of energy from forest biomass, and are committed to helping Cuba achieve its targets in the field of renewable energy.
